into our schools and create turnkey events for corporate hosts. Our calendar of events makes it easy
for our corporate partners to recruit employees and plug into opportunities with proven track records

Be a career mentor for an exciting morning at TYWLS! We need volunteers from diverse personal and professional backgrounds to connect with students in small groups; you’ll talk about the education and skills needed to succeed in your field, what motivates you each day, and the skill sets and interests that enable you to succeed.
Jumpstart to College
9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Help us kick senior year into high gear with this mentoring and workshops for all TYWLS Seniors. Help students manage the expectations, emotions, and planning of the college readiness process. You’ll work in small groups with guided conversations and activities as you discuss time management skills, mapping coursework and majors, and how to make the most of the college experience.
10:00 AM–2:00 PM
Host 12-14 high school sophomores for an abbreviated day at your offices with our turnkey job visit event! Our on-staff experts will help create the agenda and activities to ensure students and volunteers have a rewarding experience. We need two lead hosts and 10-12 engaging volunteers to make it happen – and ask hosts to provide a healthy lunch and company swag or mementos for students to commemorate the day.

Join us for an energetic morning spent learning the arts of self-confidence and bragging. This workshop leverages the talents of Peggy Klaus, communication guru and author, as she leads all participants in an experiential workshop that provides strategies and techniques for students and volunteers alike to own ambition and success.
